Track Record

 

James R. (“Regi”) Campbell has been involved in entrepreneurial enterprises since 1984. He has been involved from the early stages of    companies over that period, has served on the boards of 8 ventures and has assisted a number of other CEO’s in their startups.

 

1984 – Team Resources, Inc. – a team building and strategy consultancy – Continues successful operations today under the leadership of Pat MacMillan

 

1985  - Async Corporation – joined this early stage company and participated in it’s funding. Invested, and served as CEO and a Director until acquired by Telecom USA and ultimately, MCI. Recognized as “Entrepreneur of the Year” in Technology for the state of Georgia.

 

1993 – Invested and served as CEO and Director of Coin Dealership Systems

 

1994 – Founder, investor, CEO and Director of InterServ Services Corporation. InterServ grew to revenues of $50m and employed 1300 people. The company was acquired by IQI, a Thayer Capital investment. It continues to operate today as Aegis Communications Group.

 

1998 – Founder, investor, CEO and Director of Fitability Systems, LLC., an on-line pre-employment assessment service. The company was sold to Jack Brantley in 2001 and continues to operate today. (See www.fitability.com)

 

1998 – Founder, investor and Director of Tax Partners, LLC., a business process outsourcing company that handles sales and use tax compliance for Fortune 500 and other clients. Tax Partners is the market leader in its space, employs 170 people, and has exceeded all investor expectations. Tax Partners’ CEO is John Richie, a seasoned executive who held a number of executive positions at InterServ.

 

2004 – Founder, investor and Director of Bentsen Clark, LLC., an “investment bank” for the orthodontic profession headquartered in Greensboro, N.C.
